KRONE HAY AND FORAGE RANGE:
Since 2004, Alistair Young Engineering Ltd has been a proud official dealership for Krone. After being founded in Germany in 1906 by the Krone family, to this day, it is still a family operated company. 103 years after being founded, in 2009, Krone expanded into the UK becoming Krone UK and there are more than 80 official dealerships.
Big X
The Big X 480, 530, 580, 30, 80, 780, 880 and 1180 are industry leading forage harvesters. With the smaller machines being compact and precise and the larger machines being powerful and having a high output.
Vendro
Although this model is not launching until 2022, we still are excited about the arrival. The Vendro has 9 different models which covers working widths of 4.70m – 11.20m with 4-10 rotors. It has a durable design which aims to be maintenance free with an integral overrunning clutch. The OptiTurn tines work closely to the rotor wheels ensuring faultless results.
Easy Wrap 150
This Easy Wrap 150 model is currently the fastest single-arm wrapper on the market. It can wrap round bales varying from 1-1.5m diameter. Mounted in the three-point linkage at either the front or rear of the machine. It features an automated wrapping cycle and guarantees perfect wrapping – at the end of the wrapping process, the 2 rollers move apart and place the bale gently on the ground.
Big Pack
The Big Pack balers feature 2 new models – 1270 and 1290. The models have a variable filling system which maximises the productivity of the baler by adjusting the packer directly from the terminal which creates the ideal bale shape and density. It features a longer, sturdier bale chamber and have a full-width top plate which help the shaping and weight of the bale.
Easycut B870 / 1000
Both of the new EasyCut B870 and B1000 models have hydraulic suspension, non-stop impact protection, SmartCut, SafeCut and DuoGrip systems. The B870 have a choice of 2 attachments for the mower arm which will allow the machine operator to choose a working width from 8.31m to 8.62m. The B1000 working width is 9.28m to 10m. While these new mowers have such a wide working width, the transport width for both are 2.99m. The EasyCut technology has many features which makes things easier for the operator, maximises productivity and makes it a durable machine.
RAKE RANGE
The Krone rake range varies from single rotor to six rotor machines. You have plenty of choice for whatever you require. All the Krone rakes have the new lift tines. After a DLG test was performed on Krone rakes, it has been proven that the new design is more efficient, and it boosts productivity levels.
SQUARE BALERS
The Big Pack makes a solid bale in a quick time, the higher bale density means the bales are up to 25% heavier than the average bale. The Active Pick-Up system with powered feed roller gives a 30% faster pick up speed for better results. With Krone’s award winning MultiBale system, in just one large pack, you can get nine small bales tied ranging from 0.3m-1.35m in length.
TEDDER RANGE
Ranging from 4.6m-20m, Krone Tedders are high quality and proven to be an innovative design with the OctoLink finger and rotor gearbox. Like the Krone Mower, the Tedders are also permanently lubricated meaning it is a durable piece of equipment – no service, no hassle. All the tines on Krone tedders are 9.5mm and have a colour coded system to differentiate the left hand to the right hand.
FORAGE HARVESTERS
With 12 different sizes of Krone Foragers, our customers have plenty of choice when choosing one which is most suited to them. The large, spacious cab that the foragers offer is designed to provide ultimate comfort – all round visibility, an extra seat and optional extras. The exclusive crop flow system provides the highest quality cut with 6 intake rollers. Another exclusive to Krone is EasyFlow, the system has 58% less moving parts proven to be smooth running. This system is operated 30% faster for higher productivity.
